Another portion of the history of the railroad that served Westcliffe & Silver Cliff is revealed below in the Railroad Notes by Bud Piquette, one of our premier local historians. A previous set of notes ran in the 9/30/21 issue and can also be found in the Archive links here. These railroad notes span from May 14, 1902 to March 30, 1907. They come from the now extinct Silver Cliff Rustler newspaper as well as the Wet Mountain Tribune, which is still in print today.
