In 1987, I purchased Peyton O. Abbott's historical article entitled "Zebulon Montgomery Pike in the Wet Mountain Valley". Peyton and his wife & family enjoyed many years of use of their vacation Cabin near Rosita, Colorado. The article includes many interesting facts about Pikes early exploration of Colorado's Wet Mountain Valley. Enjoy.
